Hi Martyn: All very nice sets Did they come with boxes? If so, what do the labels look like? I am curious if there is any special commission designation or set #.

Hi Tommy

Great question and I am pleased you continue to enjoy the pictures :salute::

I have the original dispatch tickets for many of the sets, here are a couple of pictures showing the ticket details inside one of my RMLI boxes

Even though my Christian name was misspelled I forgave Len years ago^&grin

Here is my original order for the 60th Rifles sets, you will note that the top of the page shows order 1, there were in fact 8 separate orders for the various sets

This is order 7, mainly extra figures for my Rorke's Drift but more on that another day:wink2:

All the figures not on display are in Trophy boxes, here are a few. All my empty boxes are stored, never throw away a Toy Soldier box.

Going back to the Gingindhlovu order there are 52 sets that make up the total

Hope that answers the question, now what was your offer for the lot ^&grin

Here is a picture of some of the 57th boxes, all the sets have the standard Trophy AZW set number

Thanks Martyn for posting the boxes. I think that is going to be the difficulty in ever completing a complete catalogue because there is some inconsistency in the different sets. For example, very early on, there were five piece sets and then there was a switch to six piece sets.
