My favourite Panther/Panthers are the ones in my collection
So nice to have my Butcher mate back!!!
My favourite Panther/Panthers are the ones in my collection
Panther Ausf. F the last and the best.
Mate, as a concerned member you need to turn the tap off and take a breather for a minute.
You're missing all the obvious hints here and its getting a bit silly now.
There's no such thing as the best Panther. Sorry to disappoint, but there isn't.
I understand you're obsession more than you know, but you need to let it go.
Katana …. I think you are missing the point that many of these fine folks are saying.
YES … without doubt … as Desertkiwi pointed out … "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE BEST PANTHER"
I do not collect any WWII Europe series so I am really impartial as to the original question.
What folks have been trying to tell you is that we each like, enjoy, treasure, our items … and to each individual theirs is the best.
The same hold true for just about everything in life:
Is there a best classical composer? Can you argue that Mendelssohn is better than Tchaikovsky? Or say, Bizet is better that Strauss?
Is there a best form of Art? Can you argue that Cubism is better than Impressionism? How about Surrealism being superior to Abstract art?
Is there a best wine? Is Merlot better than Cabernet Sauvignon? How about a Pinot Noir outclassing a Chardonnay?
Is Saving Private Ryan better than Band of Brothers, The Pacific or Star Wars better than Star Trek?
((( Okay on this one ..ya' Star Trek is way better than Star Wars!! Come on, how can you compare Luke to James T. Kirk .. {sm4})))
What is the "BEST" Japanese WWII figure? Is it King and Country's set; or maybe Thomas Gunn's figures; or possible the new Ready4Actions sets?
THEY ARE ALL THE BEST.
With each post your throw out (Ad nauseam) why something is 1/16" of an inch off, or the color is not right, or why you hate King and Country, or why your opinion is correct and everyone else is a fool.
This hobby is (supposed to be) about fun, enjoyment, stress relief, history, the hunt for the illusive treasure, the thrill of the find.
I truly believe that you must hate this hobby since all you do is find fault with this one item or another; one manufacturer or another.
As have been suggested, step back, loosen the tie, kick off the shoes, pour a cold one and YOU enjoy your toy soldiers and WE will enjoy our toy soldiers.
Have the BEST day possible, Katana.
Now I'm going to listen to some Strauss while I sip my Merlot and watch The Pacific … ^&grin
