I have just watched this movie today and thought it was quite a good film. Did not know what to expect but, for a £5pound note took the chance. Well worth it

Thought it a good show as well. Couple of original twists and properly bleak. -- Al

Properly bleak indeed. I have to agree though, as I too, thought it was an excellent film. Not a huge Denzel fan, but he was very good in this role. My friend I saw it with didn't like all the religious overtones, but that's too bad for him.:rolleyes2:

I enjoy the bleakness of the "end of the world" type stories and this was a good one. The only film that was really a lot bleaker, and was a film I liked even more, was "The Road" with Viggo Mortensen. -- Al

Al is right Mitch...if you enjoyed "The Book of Eli"...you will probably enjoy "The Road"...

I will have to check the ''road'' out. Thanks for the intell

Religious overtones but at least the transcribed KGB was placed with all the other works. Having the woman go out as some kind of warrior was a stretch. I've liked Mr. Washington's work since he made wearing a kepi cool.

Have you seen "9" that's a clever little film.

Hi Martin. Yes, I have seen and quite enjoyed "9". The animation was outstanding and they did a great job with the dark mood and desolation. Not a film for the kiddies. -- Al
