i have fallen in love with this cat, located at the War Museum at Cairns, Queensland, Australia. Surrounded by 108 other mainly WW11 tanks and 80 artillery pieces, this is the world's best kept secret. Robin.

Oh the 'joys of interstate travel', now that our borders have come down :) :)

Robin mate,
Great photo of you standing beside the German Panther BUT what about the photo of you standing in front of the Aussie Centurion{sm4}{sm4}

Cheers Howard

I see that Andrew is guarding the Centurion, is he taking that one for Howard ??

AND

you mentioned there were 80 Artillery pieces..... where are the pictures ?????

I suppose you will be staying longer in Qld now, safer than Adelaide ??

John

Good to see you in the pictures, amazing that this is in Australia cheers Graham.

Looks like you had a great day out at the museum Robin. You really will need to expand your Man Cave to fit the Panther in ! {sm4}

Steve

Looks like a wonderful museum. Thanks for posting these great pics. BTW, you look out of scale next to the armor. ^&grin Chris

Thanks for the amazing photos, Robin!:salute:: I have long wanted to visit Oz, but just have never had the time away from my practice for a trip of that magnitude. If you ever get to the U.S., I live about a 20 minute drive from both the American Armor Museum and the American Airpower Museum, where not only can you see the armor and warbirds, you can watch them be driven and flown.
