Hi Guys,
One of the finest buildings my late brother Gordon constructed was this medieval European chateau / country house.
I had originally given Gordon a very rough sketch of a Scottish-style manor house of the kind that used to be built in the borderlands between Scotland and England and also in the Scottish Highlands.
Originally this was built back in 2015 when we launched our ‘Pike & Musket’ series depicting the English Civil War and the Thirty Years War in Continental Europe.
Over the following years this handsome structure has played ‘host’ to Oliver Cromwell’s Roundheads’… ‘British Redcoats’… and even ‘WW2 German’ doctors, nurses and ambulances.
Here however, it has been taken over by the Emperor himself and a few of his senior commanders as they plan their next battlefield moves.
In the foreground you can see a group of mounted ‘Grenadiers a Cheval’ just returning from ‘Picket Duty’ in the grounds of the Chateau.
Hope you like this one.

Best wishes,

Andy

No doubt about it, Gordon out did himself with this masterpiece. With the upcoming launch of the Napoleon movie there will be a surge of interest in this era that’s for sure. Robin.

This is a masterpiece loved it the first time I saw it and it has not diminished, absolutely brilliant Gordon was ledge in my eyes loved his stuff, and would have loved half the man's skill.

This is a top display building. Really nice. I wish you would make it as a facade for collectors.
