Guys...

As I mentioned earlier I thought the last SL of this year would be a winter Tiger does anyone agree or have themselves an idea what it may be?

I was thinking along the same lines Mitch, think we will be seeing a winter Tiger soon! Or maybe a new afrika corps Tiger?

I think you are right - a WINTER TIGER would be a great final SL release for K&C for 2010. Makes sense too - because we had the Eastern Front Tiger early this year and a lot of attention was paid to THE TIGERS of King & Country in recent promotional materials.

It would be a great release for those of us who missed getting the earlier Winter Tiger Set ! I have been dragging my feet on buying that Tiger - thinking that Andy would eventually release a NEW Winter Tiger at some point.

You guys are way off, its Wittman's Last '007' Tiger in Normandy coloration, looks great in 1/30 scale :D

I don't have an idea as to what it may be but since K & C has come out recently with a Tiger, I doubt they would bring out another one so soon as it would detract from the sales of the one already on the market.

Andy knows we can't have to many Tigers, so another Tiger it is ;)

These things tend to be cyclical. We have already had a Firefly Sherman, a Tiger and a Panther recently. I would think its a popular item which hasn't been done in a while. My money would be on a winter 88, which hasn't been done since WS23.

How about a crane?

I hope Andy releases both a Winter Tiger as well as an 88mm gun with crew soon....Something we have all wanted for quite some time....otherwise someone else could beat him to the punch;)....I would love to see this released in the K/C style

I would love to see a new winter Tiger, but with the cost of these tanks, what would it do to sales of the Kursk Tiger?

I suspect we won't see a Winter Tiger until sales of the Kursk Tiger run it's course. And even then, don't assume it will be a classic scenario limited edition set like the original - it might be just a white Tiger with a few half crewmen??

Figarti did beat him to the punch with their instant sell out of a winter 88 and prime mover - but there were only 100. I doubt if that satisfied the demand for a winter 88.

I agree with you, Terry. I don't think Andy would want it to compete with the original. Also, the price with four or five full figures would be up there.

I think the way that we see collectors buying multiples of afv's another tiger especially a classic winter version would be ideal. I cannot see how a SL would interfere with the run of sales of the kursk version as an SL regardless is another entity in its own right and, I know people who collect all SL releases and, are not bothered what range its from. so, collectors would buy it regardless. I know we won't see five figures as that would be a backward move as its been done before.

It would be a sure fire winner IMO
