Very dramatic and realistic. Looks like a scene from a movie I'd want to see!
Keep up the good work.
Best Wishes,
Paddy

Dramatic scene captured in miniature, Steve. Nice job blending figures as well.

Cheers Rob:salute::

Though not JJD a think the TG warrior figure fits in well with a lot of battle scenes. The peoples that we tend to lump together for convenience these days quite often seem to have to our modern thoughts a bit of a fixation on Heads and when you read up a bit of this to our eyes, Barbaric propensity you find it's fairly common in those cultures !
The FL Druid is pretty good too with it's wild eyed nut job look !

Thanks Paddy :salute::

It's been fun creating different little scenes showing different settings for them as each of these mounted Romans have been released. So, one more to go ! {sm4}

Great scene Steve!!

I love the first one with the shadow effect. I'm in the process of trying to do a scene using that effect. Just waiting for a few more figures to get released before I get around to it.

But I love seeing how you pulled it off......gives me inspiration.

As someone on another thread said recently, night time effects is difficult and knowing that, I decided to turn the light off in the room last night and see what it would look like. Simple as that for this shot !
The other two shots I did this morning on this grey November day, so natural light wasn't good anyway.
I look forward to seeing yours which sounds like it's going to be far more professional.
All the Best

Very inventive Steve, you have nailed the scene. Robin.

Thanks Robin :salute::

For those with the space I can highly recommend these two Roman cav figures and think multiples of them would look good in a skirmish.

Like you've mentioned before Robin the Javalin cases these figures John has carrying do detract a little from the overall look of the figures, but at least we have them. Perhaps I might mix them in with the TG Roman Cavalry with the Green oval shields though, different type of helmet, but we have to remember back then things weren't mass produced in a factory with everything looking the same and of course if a piece of kit was serviceable, it would be pushed into service even if it wasn't the latest must have fashion !

Great scene, the fire looks so real. I so agree these Romans are great. They are the backbone of my Roman cavalry, along with some Conte and CS.
