Thanks Mark and Martyn; Mark, I guess you could say I've got a few figures................:wink2:..................this diorama represents about 1/3rd of my ACW collection...............

When you say " . . . I had a lot of fun with this one . . . ." I am sure you did indeed. A great series of photos George, showing massive troop movements and defensive positions. When I saw the title of your thread I just had to take a peek and I am glad I did . . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Thanks Mike, I am glad you like it...........it started out with just the walled crop fields then I put the wheatfield in front of it, then the two fields to the left side, added the fencing, the trees and all of the extra troops............................am planning out another much larger one, either the Confederate right flank at Fredericksburg or the Battle of Atlanta, specifically the Union counterattack around Troop Hurt house from the famous cyclorama painting...........

Once again nice to see you at play George an no doubt although alot of work setting it all up there's also no doubt how much you've enjoy doing so. Thanks again for sharing your playtime with us very nicely staged and photograph......Joe

George...another epic battle with lots to look at...love the masses and the props...the tents...rock walls and fences...where is this HUGE set up at...is this at your house or do you have a warehouse where you do your hobbying...the sheer numbers on this table...have to make you one of the largest 28mm Civil War collectors in the world...

Thanks Mike, imagine the epic displays you could do in this scale, your 54mm displays are amazing in their own right.

These layouts are all at my house, they break down pretty easily until the next idea comes to mind, then out they come again..............

Alex,
I figure at this point it's close to 20,000 figures, not to mention for WWII, close to 500 AFV's, plus hundreds of buildings, bunkers, pillboxes, trenches, on and on it goes..............

wow!
impressive!
how many hours, days, months ...... working to achieve such Displaying??{sm5}
as I watched it figures on the scale 1/72? how many parts??
The painting, scenery, what patience!!
Congratulations and thank you for posting.
Guy.{bravo}}{bravo}}
