The Guns of August (1914) (1 Viewer)

Yes, looks good doesn't it ...... ???

I do like the escort with the hi-vis vests ... they wouldn't have been wearing that sort of kit on the Western Front :) :)

AND stopping off at the PUB on the way ...... that's the way to 'Go to War' !!!!!

Great stuff, I challenge the makers to please, please produce a Great War traction engine, a Holt Gun Tractor would be just the ticket (hint JJD):wink2:

They are:

They are great kit, fine detailed, and sook great, but of course, as bit small for 1/32 or 1/30 scale figures.

Glad you found the Dorset Show Luiz - and yes - quite a bit of old Military stuff there.

I'm going a bit "off piste" here - but if you have an hour to kill, sometime - take a look at this epic journey, undertaken by a team of Traction Engine enthusiasts across a difficult route in the North of England. Although it isn't Military - it does show quite a few of the problems encountered and solved - in getting this beast across a very difficult route.

If you too like Traction Engines - you'll love this!

(p.s. I'm painting one at the moment too - will show you later) jb
