The ignore list (2 Viewers)

The ignore list is another in a growing line of strange ideas. This is a toy soldier forum. I find it hard to believe that grown men would need to purge others to avoid being upset.

I reckon the Ignore list and the Friends feature are both excellent ideas. I think they should be on every forum where most members are pre-teenage girls, here it's a bit sad and almost homoerectus-like - imho of course. That said I do like the Social Group feature, not that I use it much.

Just placed the name on my ignore list :p

We need a "double reverse ignore to infinity list" to up the ante.

I agree, Matt, if anyone out there sees this :( Hey, Billy Idol just came on the sat radio...Dancing With Myself!

I haven't been too pleased with myself lately. I think I'm going to put myself on my ignore list

Heeeey....

my ignored individual's comment just showed up on 1879fanatic's comment quoting him....

I think it's flawed..... :(

So now ignoring vexatious and obnoxious posters is "homo-erotic"
Sorry don't follow that one.

Yes, it makes me feel good ignoring my fellow man:D Anyone of you %omos touches my stuff, I'll kill ya...Anyone of you %omos touches me, I'll kill ya.

Yeah, Damian, I didn't quite get that, either. Maybe he meant "auto-erotic", like Michael Hutchence or David Carradine asphyxiating themselves.

The ignore feature is imperfect, to be sure, but, really, it is just a tool.

Alas, the behavior that leads to people ignoring one another is the truly flawed part, if any.

Seeing as how the population of this forum is pretty homogeneous (look it up;)) in terms of age and sex at least, it is very surprising how much bickering and baiting occurs here.

Can't we all just get along?

Closing this thread as it has run it's course. Any further questions about the ignore feature can be pm'd to me or another mod type of your choosing.

Cheers,
D
