Not my interest, but it does look good and another high quality item from a great TS Manufacturer.

Fantastic! When will this be available? I’ve always liked the TA-183 Huckebein. Such an innovative design that was far ahead of its time. The TGM model really captures the look of the plane.

There’s not very many large-scale models of the Huckebein out there, though I do own a custom made TA-183 model in 1/18th scale that a friend made for me a few years ago.

Jets were coming in to their own near the end of the war, so it's not surprising this little beauty was being utilised in 1946. The news obviously had not reached the ground staff yet that Germany had capitulated the previous year. Robin.

Another example of how advanced the German aircraft industry was at the end of the war. It would have carried 4 x 30mm cannon, making it a powerful air-to-air adversary. Never made it past wind tunnel testing by the end of the war. Nice looking model. Chris

Just as the Japanese had small groups that "held out" after the Japanese surrender, some small pockets of loyal German troops kept up the fight.
Even today rag tagged Wehrmacht soldiers roam the mountains stealing Bratwurst and Sauerkraut in order to survive .:tongue:

Both versions have been loaded onto the website, at the moment we only have 1 of each version in stock, 5 more of each will follow later in the year.

I got the TGM TA-183 model today! I ordered it from TGM a week ago and it shipped quickly from the U.K. to the USA. The TGM Staff was also a pleasure to deal with.

The TGM TA-183 model really captures the look of this conceptual aircraft and it’s nice having a model of it in 1/30 scale. The model came with a display stand and the SS061B figure of the smoking soldier sitting on a bomb. The model is beautifully painted and nicely weathered. The landing gear bays are detailed and I especially like the Ruhrstahl X-4 missiles mounted under the wings. The cockpit is highly detailed as well with painted instruments and a detailed pilots seat.

Here are a few pics of my small setup with some additional TGM figures and a K&C Luftwaffe pilot... Enjoy!

The team at TG need a cool drink !

Steve

No Steve they are right;in fact this plane was only a project and never released because the war finished before it was produced....:wink2:

When I saw this little eagle, my first thought was Oberstleutnant Heinz "Pritzel" Bär, 215 victories, 16 with his Me-262 combat code "red 13" with JG44. His airplane has a red nose.
Josef "Pips" Priller flow most of the time Fw-190 with the black 13.

Yep. It is definitely Heinz Bär‘s aircraft, not Priller’s. Had it been Priller, there would have at least been his characteristic “Jutta” artwork... It looks like TGM based their schemes on the paint/decal options that came Academy 1/48 scale TA-183 kit.
