The original 2007 version was a decent horror show and it had a tremendous cast, plus being directed by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead). -- Al

I have low expectations too; one hour in on the first episode and I'm here to report those low expectations have not been met..................

He also has "It" and "The Dark Tower" coming out in theaters. The trailer for "It" looks pretty good.

Yes, that was a surprisingly good one. The King novella is also an excellent store and the endings is much different than the movie. Episode one of the miniseries was pretty much what I expected though. Not too great but watchable.

Have watch first 2.Like Combat said watchable,more so than American Gods and Twin Peaks for me.

I enjoyed the original 2007 version as well and have been waiting for it to appear on free to air TV but no cigar!

I just happened to catch the last 5 minutes of it the other night, that wonderfully depressing ending, and in those brief few minutes I spotted 3 actors that have been or are currently on The Walking Dead. I spotted the Carol actress, the Dale actor, and the blond actress killed off in the Governor battle. Don't know how many more may have been in the film. -- Al
