Oh well let's not open that little can of worns shall we?:salute::

......Further, at least one forum member is finally going to get what he's asked for maybe once or twice, despite not having a birthday or Christmas or other special occasion to use as an excuse to justify the capital outlay! Of course, a collector getting the exact release they want is a special occasion in and of itself!
......
Best, Matt

Oh my, I wonder if that is for me or Gebhard?:redface2::tongue:^&grin Well, I can only hope, sorry Geb.:wink2: If it is me, I WILL find the excuse.^&cool

BTW, I know I have seen that figure but I just can't place it at the moment.

More seriously, from what I have seen (and what little I have) one can only expect the best from First Legion. Problem is, there isn't a range that I look at and don't like. They are all great and getting better...

Paulo, I know just what you mean. I don't know a whole lot about the Crusades for examply, but I feel compelled to pick up some of these new figures. When feel the compulsion to buy figures about a period that you didn't have interest in previously, that is the sign of a truly well made product!

As long as there are some WWII guys in the works I'm a happy camper:smile2: and since Matt did say " more then one release of WWII in the next 6 months that's like icing on the cake!!! now just wondering if there will be more winter troops this go around?? I know he mentioned DAK, but that line has never really interested me (maybe I see to much desert all the time:smile2:) but hopefully some vehicles as well as some more infantry...Sammy

I saw that Bill :wink2: We can only hope both of our persistence will one day be rewarded , GOD knows I've been pleading my case since my second order of Bavarians a couple of years back .. You know looking back at First Legions Napoleonic line which is now approaching 300 figures it really is impressive to see what they have given collectors in such a very short time . Other companies have been doing it for decades and have somehow still only managed to cover two or three of the belligerents .. Bill , If it was me I'm getting two... one to display and one to keep safe just encase I break the first one :redface2: Regards Gebhard

We can only hope :smile2:, I'd also like to start begging for a mounted Gneisenau just encase :) Oh my bad I've already been doing that too . Oh well how about some Landwehr figures oops that one two hhmmmmmm .There really are just so many possibilities and I know at least for me that's part of the fun . Oh well we will just have to wait and see whats next , Whatever it is there's one thing for certain, and that is that it will be well done :wink2: Regards Gebhard

I know how you feel. I can't even pronounce most of the words with the Samurai line, but they do look good!

As a side note, between a Blucher figure for you and some Rifles for Bill, First Legion could really make this thier best year yet....

Ah samurais... Let me post some pictures of my own FL guys... you HAVE to have some of these... The archer is incredible !

I hope we BOTH get what we want to mate. If it is me, judging from how they do these releases, I am looking at 10-15 or more, plus any multiples. If it is you, I will be happy for you but there are already many other releases they have done that I would need first. Now IF it is me, will you pass on the chosen ones?

As strange as it sounds, I kinda like not knowing when exactly we will be getting new releases, trust me guys I'm even more excited when I get that new news letter email from First Legion, but I like the "not knowing part" kinda like Christmas a little, not knowing what's under the tree sort of thing. so yes this native is a little restless but looking forward very much so to the news letter:smile2:...Sammy

It's interesting, I've never collected a DAK range before but I am seriously considering starting with FL's releases. I think our budgets will be strained in the next few months Sammy.

DAK just never caught on with me, maybe because I love cold weather:) but agreed that the next few months should be very very interesting hopefully for WWII collectors, really hoping there are some more German grey vehicles to go along with what has been released, still like to see a halftrack, and of course we have to get the Russkies some fire power as well...Sammy

Mate ,
I don't think there is a Napoleonic Collectors yet born who is gonna be able to pass on these guys when they do show up :wink2::wink2: Not sure if you have ever heard of Von Hellwig's Raiding Corps but they had an infantry company that were supplied with uniforms from Britain and the coatee was that of the 95th so these would have crossover potential as well for someone who may have interest in units raised in Silesia :wink2: of course I'd have to change the headgear  and firearm :redface2: .. Anyway your darn right I'll be getting em ^&cool and keeping at least one set just the way they are :salute::... God it's Great to be a Napoleonic collector in 2011 , three cheers for First legion .. Best Regards Gebhard

So many grey vehicles to still do. I'm with you on the Sd.Kfz.251, it's at the top of my want list. On the Soviet side we definitely need to see a T-34 and KV-1.
