I know I'm getting a little restless, keep waiting for the news lettercome on Matt, I'll even settle for some Nap news
...Sammy
Collecting three lines means I'm never at a lost for something to buy. I guess it must be part of the sickness of being a collector , but every morning i find myself checking the First Legion website and my mailbox to see If I have a new newsletter .
I'm really getting excited to see what is coming next ^&grin What will it be ?? a new line completely or will it be the expansion of an existing line into a new Battle ?? I'm torn over this .. I want it to be something that I have a Great interest in but my wallet is pleading for something I will have the will power to live without .. I guess we shall find out soon enough :smile2: Regards Gebhard

As I have struggled to maintain only one line (WWII) it does sometimes become very hard to do, love both the ACW/CRUSADERS but again I'm not wanting to get in a position where I'm trying to collect it all, can't anyway, but I am very curious to see some new lines come out, but I think staying on the line of WWII I must pick up the DAK which looks to be a very good to me, also have another dio planned by TM Terrain later this year, as cool as First Legion figures are it's nice to give them a dio that matches thier quality, hmm..a desert dio maybe next year?...Sammy
I just noticed you and frank are heading into AfrikaI must admit I'm gonna be cherry picking this line myself . I'm hoping with the introduction of three new lines this year the pace of releases will slow enough for me to keep up
I know for some guys the pace of releases from First Legion is a bit slow but for me its almost too fast . Being a full blown Napoholic and also collecting Stalingrad and the Crusaders line not to mention if one or more of the new lines are what I'm both hoping for and dreading its gonna be decision time for me for sure ^&grin ..In a perfect world I would have both the money and space to be able to have at least one of everything First Legion produces from all the lines but we all know this world is far from perfect :wink2: I'm already looking forward to seeing your next project and of course some more Great photo's from Frank .. Regards Gebhard
Napoholic.I love it.^&grinA new word enters the English language.
Mark
DAK, because sooner or later those Germans have to have a enemy to fight...Brits/Americans??? all good to me...Sammy

I agree with you on the releases, I think the time table for releases is just fine, even though we all get a little restless about wanting some new stuff, the time frame suits me just right, a little here a little there and before you know it you have a nice collection...
Who knows, "someday" means any day after today. :smile2:
No guesses on whose figure that is I see... I guess I'll keep the gold star. :redface2:
Best,
Matt
Well did we ever figure out who makes this figure? I thought it could be one of St. Petersburgs, Aeroart but I'm really hoping this is a First Legion figure to be released in the not so distant future.
Well I would say there is no doubt they could have made it but "little known company"? Then again, Matt does like his intrigues and it would be like him to refer to them that way so perhaps the odds are with you (and the rest of us who fancy Rome) Paulo.:wink2:My guess is it's made by FL:rolleyes2:.
Paulo
Well I hope you are right Alex but none of that is conclusive. The location of the image just means that Matt used their own servers to upload it. Moreover, I don't know where Matt said Chris had it right but what Chris actually said could be taken as a FL figure, a St Petersburg figure or a kit figure mentioned by someone else.Actually,
Matt said in one thread that Chris had it right. And if you reread this thread from the start, you'll see that Chris replied 'FL' as being the maker of this figure (reply #15)
So this means that .........
............... FL romans are coming ... imperial or whatever but they are coming.. and I'm pretty sure that this picture is of one of the master..
Oh and by the way.. if you reread Matt's post .. you can see that the picture is located at http://www.firstlegionltd.com/images/newimages/roman.jpg ..... on firstlegion website....!!! I'm pretty sure there are many other interesting roman jpgs on FL website...)
Alex
Well, dare I say that it is actually a First Legion figure and this is some sort of trick question??![]()
Certainly looks a tad like the aquilifers mentioned by a few people here (this is a kit I have to believe as St. Pete did the same figure that has been referenced) but who the particular artist is is beyond me.
