the new collection 2009 of W. Britain (1 Viewer)

They all look fantastic but I really like the French WW1 cavalry. A real "outside the box" subject. Nice work. -- lancer

loving where they've taken the redcoats range this year cant wait to start adding the new releases to my collection :D there's even a few gordon highlanders (My Grandads regiment) to make the wait that much harder lol any chance of a redcoat from my other grandads regiment the 29th worcesters???

Congratulations to Ken and company; there are some very impressive looking figures coming along. I totally agree that even from my relatively short experience, the quality of these figures has really improved. For me, the Zulu additions are extremely nice, as are the Napoleonic ones. I am not much of a Highlander's fan but these are most compelling. Maybe some green jackets and French dragoons next??????

For the Zulu war series, I would like to see a casualty pack like Conte did for the ACW (they are now like rocking-horse ****).

the new napoleonic range is outstandinding with the black watch figures making my jaw drop cant wait for them to be available

Ken:

Are these Cameron Highlanders based upon set 114 originally produced in the late 1940s? Set 114 was without an officer I believe. What is the time period of the uniforms depicted? WWI era or earlier? The tropical helmet style looks more like WWI than the 19th C.

Thanks,

Randy

Thank you for allowing Treefrog to post these pictures before your new catalogue is even out.

Your new figures are awesome.

Earlier you said there would be additional AWI figures to be released with the four shown. When will we see the other figures?

Some very nice stuff here. I have only collected Britains in the Civil War line before. That might change. As for CW, I am very excited to finally have a nice dead horse to use!! The flagbearer and new leaders are very nice too. The best though are the Napoleonics, the AWI period, and the Jane Austen series - terrific work. Nice price on the house too - much better than I expected.

The pith helmet does look more WW1 than the typical 19th century Wolsey helmet. It is a very nice looking traditional glossy set, just wish you could buy extra privates

The 24th figure from the set "Defending the Wall" is excellent, and since he is removable I could so see this man fighting on top of the hospital roof...

The 2009 ACW figures are very nice with good prices, I especially like the various loading poses to help finish out a firing line. Any plans on ACW civilians?

Thx again

I agree. The selection of single figures is helpful for those collectors looking to round out existing displays. And I think civilians would be a good addition too. I like "Clara" (Barton?) from the petticoats range, but some matte figures would be nice. How about John Burns at Gettysburg?

By the way, Longstreet looks great. That's an excellent likeness of "Old Pete".
