British troops fall back towards the town of Dunkirk.

These marching FOB British figures are some of my favorite from K&C. The "no hat" Tommy in particular.

Very nice :) my favorite figure in my collection is the soldier with the bren gun he looks great with the others think ill have to pick them up if I can!

Cheers Craig

Yes, you have done a great job with the arranging of the troops and use of the trees, which makes it look just like France.

I'd like to see some more of the poor unfortunates from the retreat, but maybe showing them in a more distressed state, much like the soldier without his helemet.

The civilians will go grest with this diorama too.

My father in law was in the rearguard defending Calais, they had to keep the Germans at bay until the boats finished the evacuation, and subsequently he didn't get out, and had to march to Germany for a forced internment until 1945. These figures area fine tribute to all those soldiers.

Can you please tell me the K&C ref number of the one pointing and the one without a helmet. I missed that series of figurines ( were already being retired when I discovered K&C)
Will try to find them on internet
Thanks
O before I forget
very nice set up. I appreciate you took the trouble to hide the figurines bases. It is ever so more realistic in that way

Great stuff wwiibuff. The FOB series is awesome. The Tommy's are one of my favourites to collect and in particular the "no hat" piece is still probably my favourite figure to date. He just sums up the period for me, tired, confused, dejected. I just recently picked up the stretcher bearer set, Lord Gort (my Avatar) and RN personnel to round out my collection. Hopefully in the not so distant future we'll see a few more pieces released including some more figures, vehicles and AFV's. Its nice to see collectors on this forum enjoy this segment as well, I was beginning to think I was all by myself!

Thank you all for the nice comments. I'm glad to hear that others enjoy the FOB line as well.:)

Thanks Guy,

The "No Hat Tommy" is FOB 007 and the Sgt pointing is FOB 023

Duke...

Thanks for rectifying my error, addressed the wrong figure to Guy.

No problem Mitch. Actually he did ask about both the pointing figure and the no hat figure... you did get the pointing Sgt info correct I just answered including the FOB 007 no hat figure as well.:)

Guy....

FOB23 is available in classic discontinued at K&CUK not far from you so postage will be good. Hope it helps in the collection hunt
