It could be true as most films of that era feature the top Nazi's being happy, and ***, or should that be happy and *** :confused:

True, and Hitler used that as one excuse to cull his competitors, including Rohm.
 
The SA were macho locker room towel snappers. They were also "in the way."

You have to credit the way the man manipulated everyone on his way to the top. Everything else went for him and he took advantage. The homosexual issue was also becoming a severe embarrasment for the Nazi party
