Hi Guys,

Here’s a preview look at a few more of our British Infantry in action on D.Day.

Allied casualties on D.Day itself were approximately 10,000, including almost 4,500 killed in action. Of these 2,499 were American fatalities with the remainder being mostly British and Canadian.

British losses on ‘Sword Beach’ alone amounted to almost 700 men killed and wounded plus over 50 armoured vehicles destroyed.

Here you can see three of those casualties together with a crouching ‘Tommy’ sheltering next to one of K&C’s own, long-retired ‘Cromwell’ tanks.

Nicely posed figures Andy.

Maybe these sorts of poses can be produced for all of the 'in combat' sets you make, so that a realistic battle scene can be made when the troops are in a conflict.

I know they are showing the realism of warfare but I'm sure they will be embraced by most collectors of all of your series,

Out of curiosity...Do you already have ALL of the British WW2 tanks K&C have produced over the years..?
Also, just a suggestion...Why not use the existing KnC Sherman and ‘convert’ it into a Brish D.Day Sherman, I know several collectors have done just that...It’s pretty easy.

No, unfortunately not...i started collecting when the Churchill and some of the early Shermans were out of stock...i know you produced many others , i have a few (Valentine, even if not used is part of the DD range and i love it, Stuart, Canadian Staghound, and others) but i think it's time for another Churchill... For the conversion...i was tempted at doing so...but i hoped for a Brit version ...

Fantastic poses, congrats to K & C! All four look wonderful and make a perfect set. I love the body mechanics of the standing figure....you can see his ankle starting to turn/buckle just before he drops to the ground- amazing detail there. Thank you for the photo Andy. I'm really looking forward to all of the new British soldiers you've previewed. They are really impressive.

These are fantastic poses not only for the landing beaches but also for inland scenes all along the British advance through enemy territory
I cannot wait to lay my hands on them. For me these 4 figures are the best of the new additions

The new figures are great, i had a summary count and there are 14 individual figures, i think! I am prepared to hold my hands up if anyone can spot anymore or if i have double counted? There are some that can be duplicated so i would look for a couple of sections attack, the figures i see which could be added, would be an officer, not in sections as the rifle group, 6 + Corporal, would have been led by a Corporal [OR3 or 4] with the added Gun Group, Bren Gunner, Loader and L Corporal. An officer would be nice, possible a radio operator, Piat 2 man team or 2 inch mortar team. See there is a sniper, who would have been with the Company HQ, but from reading With British Snipers to the Reich, snipers were often used as the attack goes in to pick off MG Teams, officers, NCOs etc. I can see one figure that would fit with the Bren Gunner as a team. I first saw the picture and thought a new Comet, but reading it is a no, the arials confused me, as the one i have does not have them, but a great set. Another Comet as armoured support would be nice, Churchill would also be great, but some Hoibarts Funnies would seal the deal, as they say, using the Churchill hull and putting a 'Flying Dustbin' turret on there would be excellent. However, the real show stoppers for me would a Centaur or a Sherman Crab. One can dream, but i am very happy for the new figures for potential Normandy dios.

Back on the actual theme, these are not only excellently crafted figures with lifelike poses, but if you are creating an allied D day scene featuring the main armies of US , Britain and Canada you certainly require dead and wounded figures for realism. I believe my cc will be burning a hole in my wallet with all these great new releases.
