Rob mate HM has arrived she is going ok for what 85+ and she is coming to Perth for a BBQ and (CHOGM..:wink2:)
probably her last visit to the penal colony :D

Let's hope the anti royalist mob don't give her too much hassle. She loves OZ and I'm sure the vast majority of the big bronzed Anzacs love her too. Trooper

Don't forget to iron the suit with the little arrows on it then Wayne^&grin Who knows, if you catch her eye - she might buy you a frostie?{sm4} johnnybach

My mum still remembers seing the Queen as a kid back in 1954 in Sydney.

She got her job through relatives, y'know ;)

Prost!
Brad

Denis Diderot said something about that man will be free when the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest. I DON'T believe THAT in regards to Queen Elizabeth! She's a classy old girl and a WW II veteran and I won't hear a word against her!

Good luck save the Queen!

Based on a previous visit by HM.......will the Aussi PM be taking a "hands" on approach to the visit.:D:D{eek3}{eek3}:p

Following the Ashes earlier this year Liz is over there to offer her services as an Aussie fast bowler, it was either her or Shane Warne back again!:wink2:

Queeen Elizabeth is THAT cool that maybe she could! I enjoyed the comedy radio report of the fourth hour of her annual birthday drum solo.

Maybe her children have let her down but I hope her grandchildren are giving her some joy.

I meant no knock on the monarchy, though I wouldn't want to live in one. That line is an old joke--I remember it from Benny Hill.

Good old Benny Hill. Did he ever dress as the Queen?
^&confuse

Knock monarchies all you want, Queen Elizabeth is a class act.^&grin

There's no doubt William and Kates wedding has given the Royal family a huge boost and they are
both very popular (she is gorgeous) and opinion is they will make a good King and Queen, as you say hopefully they will avoid some of the mistakes of their parents generation.

Hi Guys,

Don't tell anybody but I have a feeling I am going to be "volunteersd" to go and join the masses to see HM when
she in Brisbane on Monday. Seems my wife, from the Phillipines, is a fan and thinks I should go with her.

Prince Phillip looking great for 90.

Was funny listening to a lady on the radio talking about Republic and Monarchy and saying that because we have
a Queen then we do not have the problems places like Greece have. Clearly she did not realise the Queen is from England !!

Rob, If Warnie comes back to Australia with Liz Hurley then I have no complaints.

Regards
Brett

With the resurgence in popularity of the Royal family over here it sounds pretty tough time to be a republican^&grin:tongue:

Queeny's mum was also very popular indeed. I loved her reply when asked by the then government to take her kids and flee to Canada for their safety during the Battle of Britain, she went into the gardens of Buck Palace and learned how to fire a handgun!^&grin That would have been cool if she'd plugged a Luftwaffe Pilot who crashed in Buck gardens^&grin. They nearly got her though, as well as bomber hitting Buck Palace two V1's made it into her Garden, to this day you can still see different bricks in the wall around the garden where it was demolished in the explosion.

I think William and Kate are breathing much needed youth and enthusiasm into the Royal family again, its good to see.

Wayne mate, i think you'll find she was referring to Tasmania again{eek3}......poor love gets confused...:p:D:D:D

Well we did it.

We stood for two hours waiting for a glimpse of the Queen. I hasten to add I had no choice in the matter !!!

A big crowd and all excited to see her.

We were about 8 back and unfortunately only got to see her hat. For those interested she was wearing a lime green dress. However we did find later that we had caught her on camera so not a total waste of time{sm4}.

The experience was not helped by a boofhead who could not keep still and kept moving in to the front of me and pushing my wife. Was not neccessary Normally a patient person but eventually had to ask him if he
planned to get into my face a bit more:mad:. He was wearing a white shirt with the No 8 and the word Lampard.

Highlight of the event was the Spanish lunch of tapas and sangria afterwards.

Brett
