Hi Guys,
A few days ago we completed ‘shooting’ a whole bunch of photos of a large (6’x4’) ‘Winter Diorama’ that we designed for one of our leading K&C collectors in Asia.
Our collector had seen other photos of a ‘Ruined Factory’ dio Gordon had built back around 2013 and requested an updated version.
Once the diorama was completed we ‘shot 5 different scenarios with a range of various K&C figures and fighting vehicles depicting both old and new.
This was the first scene… Soviet infantry carefully advancing into the East Prussian city of Konigsberg early in 1945.
Now part of Russia the city has been renamed Kaliningrad. These 5 photos show the model ‘naked’ as well as ‘set dressed’ with some of K&C’s Red Army.
Hope you like it and have a great weekend!

Andy

Actually love to see these buildings for sale. Big need for these type of buildings.

Very nice. It would be interesting to see a photo on the other side. Maybe also the back side is exploitable...

That diorama looks excellent, but i do not know how wives and partners would act to something that size turning up!

I heard this type of delivery termed as 'Divorce in a Box'.

Loads of different options, would be a great BotB diorama as well.

There are companies that offer loads of buildings like this; it's called 3D printing.

Jakob from Scandanavia and David from TM Terrain in the UK also offer scratch built items, plus Andy from King & Country sells custom pieces as well.

Plenty of options out there, you just have to know where to look.

Love to see this in a Stalingrad Sept/Oct Version

If Andy can provide a winter version, there is no reason why he can't also offer a September\October version, it's not that difficult for him to do.

Andy,

You said you “designed” it but I’m curious who built it as it’s quite impressive. Thanks.

The only issue i have is which collection room to put it in,,my two small dogs give me no trouble,,

Do know where to look. Unfortunately I am not a fan of overseas shipping. Tried that once and it was a disaster. Too expensive to have the Postal Service destroy it.
