After admiring Rob/ Western Outlaw's Paris and villages scenes, thought I would take a shot.

You really have some different and unique figures and accessories in these scenes. Quite refreshing and interesting. Robin.

Love all these street scenes, Reminds me of "Band of Brothers", when Winters is on leave in Paris.

Steve

Really different and very nicely staged!
Did you construct the buildings yourself or are they purchable?

I like the way you covered so many different "daily" activities and the characters to go along with that idea.

Those GI's must really be drunk.
A beautiful girl on 20 feet away, in a shower and they haven't tried to find a way to climb up there yet … yup, really drunk. :eek:

Fun to view!

Thanks LaRRy, the restaurant is plaster cast from Diorama Plus. The other bldgs are Miniart. They have a wide selection of 1/35 buildings, figs and accessories. I thought the various liquor bottles complete with labels and crates very cool, all kits from Miniart. Figs are Miniart, Verlinden, a couple of Tamiya, and Master Box (including the rather indiscreet lady), Plus Model (not to be confused with Diorama Plus) and Bronco.

Kinda makes you want to shout "look up" to our forlorn GIs. :redface2: Chris

Simply amazing.....And so many small details, wow!

Great looking set up, with some nicely built and painted models!:salute::

Very good Chris :salute::

Stay safe

Martyn:)

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the display. :salute:: Fun to put together. Chris

I have some questions:did you paint the figures yourself? Is it a permanent diorama?:)

Hi Poppo, I am the guilty party with regards to painting. The figs, accessories, bldgs, vehicles are all kits. Not a permanent dio, although I may have a few additions to this one in the coming weeks. The 1/35 dios are all temporary. The 1/30 H Hour is a permanent display. Chris

For sure the sober ones are a minority in this scene{sm4}
