Away from the blood and death of the battlefield, officers and men of the Union Army and a visiting Vivandiere take time out to reflect on the day's events and what they mean for their hopes to eventually return home to those they left behind.

Very nicely done Randy . . . . The new WB ACW figures in non-combat poses are very nicely done. I often like these kind of scenes and dios because as those that served all know that there sure was much more "marching" than there was "fighting" . . . . .

Excellent vignette Randy-very topical for me as my camp set and standing officers arrived this very morning

Yep Randy very nice as usual. Always colourful and positioned like an artist. My favourite diorama's are 'at rest' scenes, rather than fighting. ^&cool, Robin.

Randy...

Joe Quintini once told me you were the master of the "mini diorama"...

that rings so true...

you make everything look so simple...

always great figures...a nice presentation and crystal clear photography...

as always...well done!

I just bought all the men in your diorama. They are wonderful figures. I love the scene you set up with them!

Thank you all for your nice comments and likes.
I would like to see camp sets for the other eras that WB does: AWI, FIW (Clash of Empires) Naps, Sudan War (War Along Nile), WWI
Like Mike Mestell said this is where much of a soldier's time is spent.

Randy,

Another one of your outstanding scenes!! The arrangement of the figures is superb. One can almost hear the conversation taking place just as your description says.

Mark

Randy, just noticed this, another great scene showing camp life. Well staged and photographed. Chris
