The War Along the Nile Series (3 Viewers)

Hi Guys:

It would hardly be right naming a series "War Along the Nile" without something to actually go IN the Nile...

As for Isandlwana - I had a lovely visit to Woolwhich when last in the UK...

And last but not least, we'll do Rorke's proud not leaving until the battle is well good and fought!

Hope this begins to clear the fog of war a little.

"From the Banks of the Clyde to the Banks of the Nile 1801"

The Black Watch was in Egypt in 1801 and participated in the Battle of Alexandria against Napoleon's Nile Expedition on March 21, 1801.

I am shooting for all of it in 2010. They will not all be in the main catalog, some will appear in later supplements throughout the year.

That will do nicely Michael :) Love the lifeboats (don't remember seeing them before), where did you get those from???

I bought from Ebay, Lego life boats, cut them in half and joined the 2 sections with the pointed bows. I then layed planks inside with yellow paint and oak finish for the floors. The davits are supersized paper clips cut to expose the bent over look. The boat floors have holes cut for the clip ends to insert...Michael
