The War to End all Wars (1 Viewer)

I'll tell you what I know this is only toy soldiers but the real guys who did this 100 years ago had to have real courage.I don't know if I would have that kind of courage.

Ahh...the German machine-gunner's POV. Really nice photos and effects. -- Al

Funny thing is you collect NAPS and I Great War and you do a Great War dio and I'm building (well attempting to) some Hougoumont stuff, nice use of Bob's wire by the way....:wink2:

Bob's (Fitzgibbon) wire has come in very handy. Once I get some K&C French I will use it for a small dio with the Renault. It has certainly been a valuable resource.

Really captured the no man's land with excellent poses tackling the realistic barb wire.:salute::, Robin.

Really nice mix of B&W pic's and colour Jack and the terrain and back drop work really well too. Bobs wire looks very authentic, along with the weathered posts.......well done mate.

What a terrific scene, just tremendous work mate. The finishing and detail in this scene is inspiring, you've also managed to get real drama in there my friend. Top work all round:salute::

You are like a moth to a flame with the WW1 dios! I was going to call it 'For King and Country' and time how long it would take for you to appear. I was also tempted by 'Flesh in Armour', a novel by Leonard Mann but went with the tragically ironic 'war to end all wars'.

Did you get the red K&C fire truck in the end? I am going for the RAF version.
