I haven't posted a Civil War in a long time . . . .

Always like horse mounted figures the most and these are excellent Mike. Robin.

Excellent scene. Observing the blue bellies in the Shenandoah.:wink2: -- Al

Mike, glad to see you back to your ACW roots.
Looking forward to more.

Thank you Al . . . . . From their vantage point they could see them for miles . . .

Thanks Kirk . . . . I plan on sharing some more ACW pics here real soon . . . .

Nice scene to start the morning Mike. Chris

I hope you had a great cup of coffee to enjoy also Chris . . . . I painted the backdrop myself, the foreground scenics were made by Ken and Erica Osen for me . . .

Great shot Mike, You captured one of those brief iconic moments in the ACW. Jackson is itching for a fight, and he's soon to have one.
There's a battle looming between two legendary brigades.....one already famous, and one soon to be.

Thank you very much. Jackson was always in for a good fight and Brawner's Farm turned out to be a real slug fest. The Stonewall Brigade vs what would become the Iron Brigade stood toe to toe in the late afternoon and early evening. A baptism of fire for sure for the 2nd, 6th, and 7th Wisconsin regiments . . . .

Mike,
As stated by others already, it's nice to see you getting back to your "roots" and posting some ACW. I must say you were a big inspiration to me when I first started becoming a serious collector a few years back. I have enjoyed our friendship on this forum and I appreciate all your wonderful advice over the years in messages and phone calls. So...keep those ACW pics coming! :)

How very nice of you to say Cameron. I know I have drifted a bit due to my interest in WWI and most recently WWII aircraft carrier operations. However, I still enjoy my ACW collection and plan on sharing more photos of my displays and dios going forward. Friendships and shared advice/information is what makes this forum really great. Thanks again and all the very best . . .

I still remember the original. Thanks to you, Mike, I just had to get all three figures for myself. :)

All three figures go so well together . . . I have had mine for many years and I still enjoy them every bit as much today as when I first acquired them . . .

Thank you Enrico . . . . The background was my attempt :wink2: at painting something artful
:smile2: Mike

So well done !

Thank you for posting.

Thanks Ivanhoe . . . Before WWI, Wars of the Roses, and currently US Navy carrier based aviation, the ACW was my main collection interest.
