The latest releases turned up this week and I must say I'm very taken with this range.
Excellent sculpting and proportions with very nice and neat painting.
Looking forward to any new figures in the coming months - hopefully Zulu warriors!

Here are a few photos! :salute::

Jeff

Great range with good poses. With the warriors I think less is more. I have first legion warriors and despite the fantastic painting and sculpting they are a little over elaborate like they are all older men. In fact a bit like the four tops on their way to a fancy dress party. When they have a bit less regalia as have these new Gunn figures they look a bit more like they have stepped out of that film we all love. I wonder if the boys at first legion have ever seen it.

Thanks for the photos Jeff. They look great. I particularly like the two soldiers with flag....that is a very intense scene. I don't collect the range but I think I must order at least that set.

Although I have retired from FL, I was thinking about grabbing a few of the Zulu's you described. I recall seeing them at a show not long after they came out and I thought they looked amazing. I take it they go well size wise with TG's British? I would like to make a small diorama of the British w/ perhaps some Zulu's converging.

I have mixed the Gunn Zulu warriors with First Legion and they look terrific, they add a bit more dimension and to me look every bit as good. Sometimes things can look a bit substandard when up against FL but these look right and the colourings are very similar. They are excellent value as well.

Mine are running by foot across Australia, Sydney to Adelaide, expect the Zulu next week as they can run all day😁. Robin

These look great, remind me of, NOT copies of, the Conte 24th.
