Bad choice to paint the fingernails on those figures. Over the top detailing isn't always a good thing. Imho Frontline should have given the figures beards to impress the zulus instead of a good manicure-job. It isn't going to do those guys any good on the battlefield.

I just checked them out. You are correct, They look horrible with the fingernails. the nails are'nt even in the right places, they're up at the first joint. The haberdashery is ok , I guess. Give me gloss instead. Mike

Phewwwww I thought it was just my eyesight. Sometimes it's better to leave out some details.

The nails do look horrible, can't imagine what they are thinking. There is stiff competition in this period now with WB and Conte's new additions and while the poses here are interesting, I doubt this painting misque will be helpful to FL. Can't see what that has to do with gloss however.

It's obviously a case of Frontline wanting to maintain the name of "best detailed paintjob" company by adding detail no other company does ... for a reason Maybe the eyelashes are next

I can fix it. Paint some fangs on them. A little of the right color acryllic will set them to rights.

I don't think there was time for that with most of the poor fellows that stayed an fought. I'll bet there was plenty o' soiled britches on the Fugitive's Trail and also Lt. Younghusbands last stand on the rise. And don't forget that one lone guy (name eludes me now) who shacked up in the cave until he too was overrun. The event was not a confidence booster for those men far from home. Mike
