Not quite Mike, but the photo of mounted Germanic tribesmen sketch certainly is another that will be finding its way into my collection when released as will probably be the other Germanic tribesmen and women that we saw previewed here on the forum a few months ago, hopefully we will see more Iceni too.
These Christmas sketches are certainly hitting the mark with ancient collectors and thanks very much for sharing them with us on this forum !

Yes, it's quite a tight little scene, that has turned out quite well and I'm pleased with it. I've tried telling a little story that works best in ancient times because of the intensity and proximity of the combat, all that's missing is the horses frothing. The rest is up tobour imagination!

Yes I wanted to bring those looking at the scene into it as much as I could with the photos and John's sculpts have bought the whole story of the suddenness and viciousness of it all so much tl live. I look forward in far too many months to think about before his new ideas we've been given peeks of in the Christmas sketches being released !
