The NCAA college basketball elite 8 is basically chalk outside of Texas Tech, they're the 3 seed vs the 2.

I'm in a pool with 100 people/the cut off was 100; as of this morning, 90 people have 7 of the 8 remaining teams in the pool, this is going to be interesting to see how the money plays out, no really huge upsets that wreck people's brackets.

I've got Duke, Auburn, Houston and Florida in the final four, Duke vs Auburn in the final, Auburn winning it all.

Welp, both of my final two picks are out; that said, watching Duke gag away that lead last night was glorious...........to top it off, they tried a hail mary half court pass at the end and it failed unlike the one that beat Kentucky................revenge really is a dish best served cold.

Ovechkin tying Gretzky's all time goal scoring record. And asking not to be put in the game to break it on an empty net. Gretzky will always be the greatest, though. His assist numbers were unreal. Some records should never be broken. I can remember Hank Aaron hitting 715. Kareem passing Wilt as the all-time NBA point leader and then LeBron passing them both. Hopefully no one ever scores 100 points in an NBA game like Wilt. That one should be a one off.

What a beatdown the Memphis Grizzlies took. The players forced the team to fire their coach just before the playoffs then go out and get humiliated by 50 points. Morant laughing it up on the bench as his team gets pounded. Classic 1-2-3 Cancun moment. And how about OKC continuing to fire up three point shot after three point shoot while leading by 50? Great sportsmanship.

The focus of the episode was on the 2008 championship when the Celtics were far and away the best team in the NBA that year and the highlight of the episode was how salty he was, it's all over social media today too as an FYI, nothing to do with the fvcking Lakers being in my head, so slow your roll.

Plaschke is an all-time great when it comes to entertaining, journalistic, sports related transplants.

Orlando makes the 90's Pistons look like the 80's Showtime Lakers, they reduce the game to a total rockfight.

Any casual NBA fan watching that game tonight comes away convinced the league is rigged; all sorts of BS calls on the Celtics to make the game close, then even more BS calls on the Generals to keep the game close once they took the lead and appeared to be pulling away, just awful calls on the Generals down the stretch.

The last 2 minutes took about 2 hours to play with whistle after whistle and stoppages to review plays and such, just a **** product.

The Celtics aren't getting to the finals this year, book it; Holiday is hurt, Brown is banged up, Tatum has an issue with his shooting hand, imagine them playing the Knicks and going to that insane asylum MSG full of escaped mental patients yelling and screaming all game long, they should throw a net over that place and call it a day.

Just another example of why it's so hard to repeat in the NBA or any sport for that matter.

I think they will be ok.

The coverage is just another false hype, viewer grabbing, television ratings illusion created by ESPN etc.

Somehow in the NBA if you do not sweep every series you are never going to win the championship.

The NBA is predictable, as the No. 2 seed in the East at the very least the Celtics will make the Conference finals.
