Things that I really like (7 Viewers)

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence the last working “Big Boy” steam locomotive is making a trip from its home base in Cheyanne, Wyoming to Philadelphia. It has a two day stop in Scranton, PA for the public to come see. I am not train enthusiast, but I had to make the 2 hour drive to see this marvel of engineering and manufacturing brilliance. It did not disappoint. It was magnificent. Sad to say they don’t make like that anymore.
Truly they are a wonder to see, glad you saw it live!

More about Food Travels. Today I enjoyed lunch at the Thorndale Meat Market in Milam County Texas. WOW, even better than I remember, the 2 meat, 2 side plate with drink $20 and I could not finish it, not nearly close. Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Texas Brisket , Mac/Chees and Pinto Beans. That's living my friends. Wonderful establishment in Texas. You truly have not lived until you have enjoyed Texas Brisket.
