Well, This figure has won me over as my new favorite.

How about your favorites...have they changed with any new arrivals?

Hope you like it and have fun.

Great figure Ludwig! Gone are the days of cavalry on horseback but great figures like these keep them alive. I also like the cavalry officer reading a map. I hope one day TG does some Russians, maybe on horseback but the possibilities are endless. I'm quite happy with their American Paratroopers though. Keith

Ludwig,

like you, I was most impressed with these mounted WW2 Germans by TGM.

Wayne brought them over to my house when I hosted a local "Toy Soldier Gathering" last year, and all the guys (including collectors like me who don't collect WW2) were taken back by the sculpting, the pose, and the paintwork.

When Tom said he was going to start a Napoleonic Range, I knew that they would be good, and thethe Infantry are.... but what about CAVALRY ????

Hopefully that will be coming our way next year, and then you may have another favourite TGM Cavalry figure?

John

The German Calvary are right up there as my favourite, nice to know I have the Spring set tucked away. Tom said at the time of releasing these, anyone who missed out should not be too upset as he had another 4 Germans coming later in the year (last year), from a different era of WW11. So they exist no doubt, just being pushed back by the Nap series. Hopefully they will appear at the same time as the now expected WW1 push that Tom is planning over the next few months. Cheers, Robin.

Certainly the best cavalry sculpt. I am still torn between what I would put as an all time fav. The FJ sniper is excellent as is the standing two man MG34 team. Most of the early released FJ's were really good and like the pose of the guy with the pipe standing on the ammo crate (can't remember the set number) Most of what TG has released has been innovative in pose and style and, seems to be what collectors are after.

I have the cavalry but my favorites now are def. the US airborne troops. But knowing what is coming in the future, I am sure that also my current choice will rapidly change again.
guy:)

very interesting figure, I had never seen it. It is the first I see in this attitude:smile2:

I agree the German Cavalry are well done. Have a few of the winter version and the complete Spring set....100 made of each.
