For a HB Gold Tiger, yes. For a tank, no. The old wooden K & C tanks, pre-2000, have fetched $2,000 and up.

Personally, I don't see the attraction^&confuse.... $1500:rolleyes2:....This particular tiger version paint etc. is not all that impressive to me IMO. ...But since you can't purchase HB any longer maybe that's the explanation for the highprice tag....Surely Figarti Tiger tanks are a better buy....To each their own.

I watched this and was surprised with the final bid in GBP and spoke with a number of people about it. I would expect a few more HB tigers will appear as this was much higher than the last three I saw and, I bought one last year for £350 not from e-bay mind.

I think they are a superb AFV and I am sure who has bought it will probably not care about cost

I personally would get one of the old Nichimo 1/30 scale Tigers and build and paint it myself ($150 tops) and pocket the rest! {sm4}
