During WW1 cavalry were still a major part of most armies, however on the western front their use and movements were somewhat curtailed due to the nature of trench warfare. In the middle east and the Russian front where the open ground favoured cavalry, they were still able to play a considerable role scouting and attacking the enemy when the opportunity arose.

GW90; An beautifully sculpted German Uhlan cavalry trooper with lance lowered prepares to take on the Russians. Limited to 100 in number and price TBC early next week.
More German cavalry due to follow later on in the year.

The Zulu War
Following on from last months Zulu War release which sold very well for us, we have a new batch of British Zulu War figures:

The SS are brilliant Great poses and like the Arty crew as well all very versatile.
Like the WW1 AA bloke too he might be a 1 off.

ACC PACKS
Recently we released a Skoda howitzer, we now have some WW2 figures to crew it. There will be a new version of the Skoda howitzer in a late war colour scheme this year as well as some WW1 artillery crew. There will be another 3 artillery pieces this year for our WW2 series please note as well as crews.

As the war drew to a close, the Hitlerjugend not only filled the ranks of the SS but were also drafted to into all other arms and services of the German army. These artillery crew therefore reflect the Hitlerjugend employed in an artillery role towards the end of the war, maybe somewhere on the Siegfried line?

ACC PACK022; A soldier sat down on top of a shell trolley smiles whilst having a brew. This set includes the figure, metal trolley with howitzer shell and the 2 spare howitzer shells also cast in metal as reflected in the pictures below. Limited to 100 in number and priced at $55/£47.50.

ACC PACK023; Consists of a soldier stood, attempting to lift/pull a wooden crate containing stores or ammunitiond. Can be used in a variety of dioramas, you just need to use your imagination. Priced at $40/£36 and limited to 100 in number worldwide.

ACC PACK024; The third of this section of Accessory Pack figures is a young solider stood with a notepad in his hand and a pencil in his mouth.
Priced at $40/£36 and limited to 100 in number worldwide.

They Skoda Howitzer is great and I would like to see it with WW1 Austrian Crew. Maybe T. Gunn will consider to issue crews separate from the Howitzer so each collector choose what he likes. Recently I received the Prussian Belle Epoque Guards. A great set and I wait to expand it. I would also like very much to see WW1 Austrians from T. Gunn with their beautiful uniforms. I attach some photos for inspiration.

After reading the official release I am even more convinced on these additions.
I glad to see that T.G. decided to compliment the K&C offering with size compatibility and style.
Good news for WWII PACIFIC collectors.

ONE WORD OF CAUTION: If you look at the Treefrog site and notice the price of the 33mm gun you will see a (place holder price??) of $999.00.

After an initial stroke, I realized it must just be waiting for the real price to arrive. I HOPE!!! {eek3}

Me too. I like the kuk uniforms. I have a number of castings and I started painting them. I attached 2 photos of already painted figs. The first is from Irregular Miniatures painted with the previous 1908 campaign dress and with the new hechtgrau uniform.
The next is from Tradition. A Kaiserjager and an Uhlan wearing his pelzrock.
