About a mother whose daughter is raped and murdered, is not satisfied with the Police investigation and decides to put pressure on them by using the billboards to shame them into action. Saw it with my wife, both found it a strange film, but ok. Robin.

My wife and I enjoyed this movie, especially for the acting.
Shows what some parents will do to deal with their grief....revenge, anger, projection.

Certainly better that "Shape of Water" and "Phantom Stitch" both of whom are up for Academy awards.

I'll wait until it is on HBO. After the Awards bump these type of
movies go from theater to cable quite fast as sales dip. Then I'll
only watch it for Sam Rockwell.

Watched this one last night. Great performance by Frances McDormand but the ending was pathetic. Actually there was a fad to black with no ending. 2 stars. Chris
