Here's a set that I don't see on here often...

Conte SPQR023..."The Gladiators"...

I made this small diorama that would be my interpretation of a Gladiator arena...

it's made with Hirst Arts Bricks...the backing is of wood...sanded and painted black...

it's super heavy and sturdy...really re-inforced...

I found a really nice piece of molding to create the frame...I stained it and put an ultra-high gloss polyurethane on it...

I found a guy on Ebay that will print brass plates with any Font you choose...for only $2.25...and that includes shipping...

if anybody wants his Ebay name...just let me know...

I wish I had more Gladiators...

Very nice Michael. I really like the brick work. I didn't know about Hirst until I checked out this thread. Some interesting stuff on their site.
