Guys...

Using another Tunisian Tiger I picked up recently I always wanted a 1/30th tiger in the format of the tiger that wittmann celebrated his 88th kill in all AFV's he had been in and, recieved his knghts cross. so, a removal of the old DAK markings was done a new coat of dunkelgelb and, a few layers of winter white which, was then removed here and there and, we have S04 which, were heavily photographed by the german propaganda ministery. The kill markings were made on the computer and, the barral was painted black where they were placed to get the effect.

I took moulds from another tiger for the tracks for the turret and, gave it a light weathering. I don't believe this tiger had an air recon flag but, as its molded into the turret nothing that could be done about that. I do like this tiger as its a decent version and, can be easily worked on.

WOW - that is an impressive paint job Mitch. Well done and thanks for posting....

Excellent paint work. I love to do the same to my white wash Tiger but I'm not very talented :redface2:

Very nice! {bravo}}

How do you make the kill markings on the computer? Is this some type of transfer, or another method?

Rich

You make me want to get a Tiger myself too... {bravo}}

Mitch,

Outstanding! Another brilliant proof of your fabulous talent! Hope Andy can get inspired and come with something like that now that K&C is looking a little more to the East...:wink2:

Cnq...

PanzeRPK...

Decals were drawn by hand scanned into the computer, played around with in graphics part of the computer and then printed out on clear decal paper. I use a laser printer which means that there is no need for adhesives to stop the ink running. I usually scan images and shrink them to the size I want but, could not find any this time. Hope it helps
