Great winter environment that you've created, Duke. Very cool.^&cool

Great scene mate but I'm curious to know if you repainted the Tiger in that winter white wash? I can't recall seeing it being released that way from TCS. Either way it looks awesome and better looking IMO than my TCS Tiger in the summer tri camo paint colour.

The winter scene is very realistic. Excellent photography.

The TCS first series of Tiger Is was their best IMO. The scale was 1/29 and it worked well with both 60 mm and 65mm figures. The second series were larger and only worked with TCS, TG and K&C figures.

Thanks everyone, glad you like the scene.

Tom mate, TCS did release this Tiger I also in whitewash camo. The tri-color release was the Wittmann 007. All I've done to it here is some very subtle additional weathering.

TCS caught a lot of flack with their first Winter Tiger I, because the tricolor camouflage showed through the white wash too much! Brian even repainted some customers Tigers for them, as I recall. The later larger Winter Tiger I had the thicker white wash.

The first version was technically correct, as the water based white wash was applied over the camouflage and would start to fade with time and weather, revealing the colors underneath. The TCS Winter Panther, Kingtiger and Stug III also had thin winter white wash.
