Hey gang:

KC used to include putty with their AFVs to allow collectors to position the cannon's in the turrets. I never used it myself though I bought a Tiger (WS27??) the past weekend that has it applied perhaps a tad too generously. Any recommendations on removing it?? I think I can use an xacto blade to gently carve off the excess.

currahee...

I would use a small cone nosed file or similar as the knife may take too much off and possibly damage the tank. With a fine file you are more in control of what you want removed and its also a cleaner finish.
Hope it helps
Mitch

Cool- thanks bud!! I am very leery about removing the putty with an exacto blade

Glad you were able to effect a field expedient repair. One of the things I like about K&C is their product seems to hold up well when I've had to make repairs on figures I've accidently fragged:eek:!

Only a Texan can combine the words "Accidentally" and "Fragged" and make it believable- especially when discussing Toy Soldiers. :D:p

GARY OWEN!!
