I wonder if any of my American friends can give me their opinions here. Why is it when it comes to Toy Soldiers that two of the most if not THE most important and famous Wars in US History, American Revolution and Civil War just don't seem to be as popular as the second World War?.

Dear Rob
Well, I am not Amercian but if I may say so.
I collect NAps, AWI, FIW and ACW .. for me, the kind of TS we have here bring out the color & peagantary of the military in these eras. I particulary like cavalry figures.
Its not that I have no interest in WWII .. but I get my WWII fixes from other scales 1/72 for aircraft & AMVs and 1/1200 for ships. I even used to do 1/6 figures .. but for any particular units or theatre, a small section was all I could manage and dio building in a display cabinet was virtually impossible.
