I also wouldn't mind some civilian/non-combatant figures for the Crusader line.

Hi Guys,
In answer to the above…
1. None of the new K&C ranges will be featuring… the Joust in all its many forms.
2. We might do some tents though…
3. No young maidens… but a few old ****s!
4. No new WW2 range featuring Kursk… don’t think that took part in the Crusades!!!
5. English Archers… yes… but not yet.
6. Civilian/non-combatants for the Crusades plus merchants, diplomats!!! Or maybe Princesses… Don’t think so, I’ll stick with a few old ****s.
Best wishes and… happy collecting!

Andy has repeatedly said but everyone seems to be ignoring what he said that the new range(s) will be something not previously done in a toy soldier.
Brad do we know when Andy is going to reveal the new range(s) ?

Andy has repeatedly said, but everyone seems to be ignoring what he said, that the new range(s) will be something not previously done in a toy soldier. This was what Andy said at this year's West Coaster, as reported by Steven Chong: "There will be two completely new themes this year that has not been done by K&C in a historical period that has not been done."
Taken literally that would be somewhat difficult to believe. I'm not saying it's not true - I have no clue, but everything that I can think of has been done by someone. Certainly anything popular enough to sell - which seems to (rightly) guide KC. Maybe some ancient conflict like the Trojan War? I always thought Custer and Zulu might be on the list, but those have been done.
It has also occurred to me that it's Andy's way of throwing us off the scent.
