Awesome! I was at the first Maiden Radio City concert, which opened with Churchill's famous speech, and launched into Aces High. Best concert I was ever at!:salute::

And they still do it! As of 2019 at least! Included a full size version of my model flying down from the rafters. There is an AC/DC Tractor Trailer I think out there I might venture onto next. Toys are still awesome, I mean why these models bring so much joy I may never figure out but they do.

Quick Comment - you see the Name Bruce Horton attached to the photos. I have gotten to know Bruce through commission work. He honestly is very talented and obviously patient. His skills for me really shine on models and Resin model kits. Just incredible airbrush and detail. He did the Ozzy Randy Statue I previously posted.

Fantastic piece Tom! I love it! The Eddie crew is awesome! Congrats on a wonderful acquisition!
Quick Maiden thoughts....

I've loved them since their debut LP. It was nearly impossible to get it in the US. I special ordered it from Music+, and was so excited when it arrived at the record shop for pick up. I got a ride to the store and back, got home, took the album out put it on the turntable and sat back with the album jacket in hand only to be surprised that the music I was hearing was not Iron Maiden! The record plant had put the wrong record in the Iron Maiden cover! So I had to return it and wait weeks again to finally get it. My favorite track on the album was/is Phantom of the Opera. This was in 1980 before Killers was even released.

My favorite Maiden memory was taking me son to see them live. I have gone to tons of shows with him, almost always bands of his choice. But Maiden absolutely blew him away! To this day I think he would say it was in the top 3 of the best concerts he had ever experienced, maybe even # 1. He just couldn't believe the energy, powerful live presentation, and professionalism. It was a magical evening we both will never forget.

There's nothing quite like British metal.

Up The Irons!

Louis, That's awesome that you got to see this show! I saw them on that tour too 3 times! That was for the Powerslave album. They played 4 nights at Long Beach Arena. It's where they filmed and recorded Live After Death (except for side 4 of the album which was recorded at Hammersmith Odeon.)
Those were amazing shows etched in memory.

The first time I saw Iron Maiden was in 1980 or 1981 at the Meadowlands Hockey arena, where they opened for Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengence Tour (when the giant Eddie came on stage, it blew me away). I saw them 4 times in total, but the Radio City show was the best show I ever experienced in person.

I love it, that’s a beautiful piece. Congratulations on a great centerpiece.

I didn’t see Maiden until I was 18 due to evangelical parents. Also had to hide bootleged cassettes and listen to them secretly.

What is the song on the right under the lower Aces High?
