Hi Guys,
Have read and heard much about the rivalry between Letterman and Leno.

Have created a poll about who is your favourite.

Comments also welcome.

Regards
Brett

IMHO Letterman is far superior. Been a fan since he followed Carson, (who was the best, hands down). Just has my sense of humor, whereas Leno makes me want to open a vein. Enough said. -- Al

I prefer Letterman. He is on most nights here. Only seen a few Leno shows.

Had a bit of a Google and it seems Leno has beaten Letterman in the ratings but Letterman scored higher than Leno in favourite personality surveys. Was also a Carson fan and noted he favoured Letterman to take over his show.

Just saw the Letterman Oprah Leno Superbowl ad again.

Have been some classic shows. Joachim Phoenix for one and when Letterman confessed about the blackmail case.

Regards
Brett

The title is correct indeed. Dislike all chat shows and similar ''shows''. Like Leno's car collection

WHY?

I like the News, Rugby - and er, ..........well, more Rugby .........oh yes and a good War Film. I'm sure these ladies or gents have their own following - but put me down as a don't know.^&grin:D

I would love a dollar for every time Leno has appeared as himself in a movie!

If Leno makes you contemplate suicide, move away from the TV if you see 'Ellen' start. She makes Leno look like the Sermon on the Mount!

I used to watch Letterman but he seems to have turned into a pompous arse in the last few years. Kind of a screw ball. So I don't watch either these days. Leno is a bore.

I was in America some years ago and caught the start of the Ellen show in which she came on and danced in the audience, it was so bad it was like a road crash, you know you really should not look but somehow you can't help it.

LOL. Never have seen her, or Harpo, for that matter. Would probably claw my eyes out before the vein opening.:D -- Al

I liked Letterman until he moved to CBS and 11:30. He was funnier and edgier at 12:30 on NBC. He became more formulaic in the new timeslot, and also, he thinks he's a lot more relevant and a lot more insightful about serious matters, than he really is. Leno, on the other hand, has never pretended to be anything other than a very lucky stand-up comic.

I will go for a 3rd choice of neither......And as far as Ellen Degenrate goes that dancing at the start makes me want to puke!

I'm confused - it sounds as though you are claiming never to watch the show yet you seem to know things about it!

Yep number 3 for me,i like Hamish and Andy........................^&grin

Does Ricki Lake still have a show over there? She was popular at one time wasn't she?
