Yes Steve you have certainly captured the feel of a market aspect. So interesting with the inclusion of numerous accessories. I think TG may continue for awhile yet to supply appropriate items for your setting as they hover around Roman life in their releases. So expect the market to flourish. Robin.

Nice use of different materials and companies. It's all quite clever. The 3D Prints are very interesting, but everything you use looks right.
Great scene!

A busy and at the same time quite beautiful scene you have created here. Its as though one is an eye witness standing on the outside looking in. Thank you for your creativity.

Thanks :salute:: Yes the variety of figures and accessories available now really go to creating some interesting scenes. I'll be adding some more photos when the Sun decides to come out !

Horus,

A busy and realistic street scene. Lot's of every day people busy with their lives.

Steve

Cheers Steve :salute::

Makes a nice change from my usual combat scenes and glad you're enjoying them !

Paul's done a great job with his prints, my current favourite is the little crossroads shrine !

As promised some more photos, this time close up for the main.

Collecting the empties.56.jpg How much for one of your Turmips ? 57.jpg The bar starts to fill at lunch time. 58.jpg Yes the pears are sweet and juicy59.jpg I can tell by the entrails it's going to rain.

Even better close up. Like the attention to detail such as the straw, would not thought of that yet a simple add on. Robin.

The more I look at your scene the more I like it. Excellent work!

I think the entrails prophet and other touches add real depth to the diorama.

Yes some dried grass from the garden fits in nicely as straw. Forgot to add the scale horse manure made from leftover million !

Just having fun with this figure, but the Priests of the Roman's had some very strange ideas such as looking at animal entrails to divine something or other, or selecting a section of sky and counting the numbers of birds and their types and from what direction they flew etc etc to determine the future. Interesting how beliefs change over the centuries!

Meanwhile inside the Popina /bar. it's all the latest about Livia and the Gladiator !

Excellent work here creating this scene. Reminds me of a scene taken from a TV documentary series on Pompey when they are revealing a restaurant in their digs.

Still a few more details to paint and need to add the dish of the day to the food warmers containers, no doubt it'd of had been soaked in Garum the fish sauce beloved by the Romans so much !

You certainly get to the nitty gritty of Roman life. Looks realistic all the way. Robin.
