Good, I need to restock my cellar with some good German wines!

:D

The basic site is in place, but there are 'tweaks' needed to make it worthy of the Treefrog name. We have a new staff person whose only task is to work with the auction software company to have it all ready to go.

Soon...soon...

Peter, with the auction site, are we able to list items to other members for auction?

Thanks Peter and Shannon, we're looking forward to this new venue.

Will the site be a stand alone site or will it have a button or link from the forums?

Looking forward to the auction site. Have lots of goodies to sell. I do not care for Ebay.

It would be great to have an alternative to eBay.

I am sure the questions that have been posted will be answered in due time when Shannon and Peter are ready to launch.

Cheers, Raymond.

I agree. It would be nice to have a auction site dedicated to the sales of collectible soldiers. Ebay can be a mess at times. It always seems like their changing something.

I'm really looking forward to this:cool:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Will Shannon and that take a pforif from each listing?:)
That's one reason why I'm sceptical of Ebay:confused:

I am not sure I follow you. If you mean a fee, of course they would need to charge something to make it worthwhile but I believe she said that they expected to make it based on completed transactions, not listings. That would be a nice change from Ebay.

In order to list an item will you need to be a member with a minimum number of posts.

Thanks for all the info from everyone. I look forward to seeing what Treefrog sets up.

Peter,

Any news on the site.

Andrew

The hope is to have everything ready to launch in time for the Chicago Show...we're finally getting some of the loose ends wrapped up.

Just checking if there is any update that anyone has heard? For those going to Chicago have fun.
