Hello Shannon and Pete-

Most interested in your travels to the Far East. The company I work for has awarded me a trip to China in the fall. I'd like to hear about your trip as it goes along. We are going to Hong Kong for a few days then off to Beijing two weeks after the Olympics. Sometime in August.

I'll be watching your posts.

Safe Travels...

The Frog has landed...and went straight to relax with Mickey.to work off the jet lag. I've never seen a Disney Park so empty. We got right off the attractions and hopped back on with no waiting.

The serious toy soldier work begings on Thursday.

Sorry about the image size...my editing software isn't on the laptop.

Fortunately for us, there is a small sign stating, "It's a small world exhibit will open in the spring of 2008."

We've been spared (though the song won't leave my head now...)

Was there a Jungle Cruise ?

A long time ago and in galaxy (florida) far, far, away - I served as a Jungle Cruise Skipper. Yes, I was Jungle Ron :D

Jungle Ron - Yes, there was a jungle cruise! You could take the cruise with a guide speaking English, Mandarin, or Cantonese. I assume you were one of the English ones :)

That would have made a great YOU TUBE video. In fact, I would have paid to see that. The real question though...were you wearing the jungle pith helmet or the Napoleon chapeau?

Captain Ron comes to mind, like in that Kurt Russell movie, he even wore an eye patch ;)

Leaving the Disney Jungle behind we packed up, took a taxi into the city, checked into our hotel and headed over to King & Country Central where we met the staff, took a tour and solved the toy soldier world's problems. Panama the Intrepid Treefrog accompanied us where ever we went and was happy to participate in a photo op over lunch with the crew. He enjoyed his time with Helen however he was a bit concerned he WAS Andy's lunch .
