Treefrog Television Commercial Ready to Roll! (1 Viewer)

We're not 100% set yet (still have to talk to the ad placement guy), but I think we will be doing spot buying. We'll look over the lineup and decide which shows have the best audience that we're looking for. Right now we're focusing on Rochester, MN, but if this works well we might roll it to other places. We'll have to see.

Funny thing....we have DirecTV, so we won't even get the ads in our own home...

Peter

If you are doing spot buying you will need at least three weeks of 2-Spots per show - to have market retention - more is better in TV - so try to buy several spots as you can in the target show - dont just do one and think its done. People will need to see the first two spots before they even know what it is...

Advice from a political communications hack :D

Shannon and Peter leave it as is for a 30 second commercial it's well thought out and very nicely done and draws attention.......The Lt.

Ron, why do you have to take offence at any conversation that has nothing to do with a pro or con K/C stand.....? There has been no attacks on K/C in this thread. We were asked our opinion about the totality of the ad....The members have honestly responded and yet, here you go at usurping yet another thread, that has nothing to do with you. Go fight Andy's battles ,that are in the spirit of true attacks, if you must...But why must you interject your negative member comments in the most innocent of threads? Michael

Brad

I disagree.

I think you focus on what sells - King and Country Sells - this ad does that.

To be honest I have never understood the negative reaction to King and Country ? - it is the biggest seller in product, it is the most viewed on the forum and it is the most talked about figures throughout the forum.

I guess kicking the big guy is the "In Thing" - I simply have more respect for the Man and the Product.

Shannon - this ad is great the way it is and has wonderful editing - congrats.

Ron

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this Forum will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all people are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the pages of this Forum King & Country enthusiasts and vintage toy collectors will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even on-line, toy soldier collectors the world over will find a home for free discussion and openness in an an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my son will one day post on a forum where he will not be judged by the company he collects but by the content of his character.

I have a dream...

I wish more and more that this could be true, in all areas of our lives, especially in the more real life stuff around us. But man is competitive, prideful, and ultimately self destructive. God made us that way, thinking we might grow out of it by ultimately loathing the cost of constant conflict ,but it seems to be the only time ,he has been wrong. He ought fire the angel that suggested we really are better than how we act.....Michael

Michael - if you REALLY want to open a can of worms, bring theology into a Forum run by a minister

Must not rise to the bait...must not rise to the bait...

People will never agree on most things, the best we can hope for is tolerance of other peoples beliefs and opinions.

Btw, being irreligious I resent any inference that I was created by some supreme being, and as part of a minority group I request that any reference to god be deleted from this forum. Where is that emoticon for tongue in cheek Aussie humour.

Bait? Isn't that another of your passions: fishing?

Hi Guys,

Hope the add brings in some new blood. Very nice and I have to say I dont remember that last one I saw.

Now on to Rons comments, get a grip its not about bashing the big guy its about showing variety. I have been collecting for a long time and I remember when K&C was the little guy in the late 80s and 90's so I for one and glad that they along with many others are doing well but Pat is right in his observation some more variety and different companies will help sell other things as well after all thats the bottom line moving stock and keeping a positive cash flow. I like some of the new issues coming out of K&C but I dont collect them for a lot of reasons all personal so I wont go there but you need to stop with the negativity and bashing on Pat. He made some valid observations plain and simple.

Dave

Gentlemen

I refer you to the King and Country Thread - My Apologies.

Thanks, Ron

Couldn't get it, but I wish you much luck with it. BSP will be working hard on the Cyber end to attract new Collectors also. Alex

Well, this coming weekend the History Channel will be airing a Band of Brothers marathon. If you're in the Rochester, Duluth, or Alexandria, MN markets then keep your eyes peeled for the debut of the Treefrog ad....

If not, just settle in and watch Band of Brothers wherever you may be and IMAGINE yourself seeing the Treefrog Ad....:)

Funny thing is that the ad will air on Charter's cable systems - and we have DirecTV, so we won't even get to see our own ad!

Anyone in those markets who can keep an eye out for us?

45 Miles from Alex. I too have DTV vice cable so I guess you will have to get them to air it too.
