Last weekend, I set up a toy soldier display of the Trooping of the Colour in the Commons Room at the Cathedral of Learning, University of Pittsburgh. I used over 700 figures from my collection. I also gave a presentation on the Trooping of the Colour, utilizing the display itself. There also was a photo op with a cut out of Queen Elizabeth, which was very popular. This event was sponsored by Britsburgh (https://britsburgh.com/) and the English Nationality Room. This link- https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiSI78nFb48VjS-VAZ3DYn6Lf6lz?e=PQ96Z3 shows pictures from the event. Visitors got to experience the color and pageantry of the Trooping on the same day as the real Trooping of the Colour in London. All without a plane ticket or passport.

Very nice too Dave - well done - jb

That is a really wonderful and quite impressive display. The setting is perfect as well. Thank you for actively promoting the hobby in public!

Terrific display. I love the pageantry of this event, and you've captured it perfectly with your soldiers.

That’s a fantastic display! It’s almost like being at St James Park looking to the horse guards parade! Congratulations!!

Dave,
Very, very nice.
I have set up displays at schools, historical societies and two museums.

BUT …. I have never attempted something so ambitious at what you did … wonderful display.

Thank you! It's nice to hear that someone else does displays for the public.

Wonderful collection and display. The picture of the Queen is a nice touch. Chris
