Perhaps they were just using up what was left in the bottom of the Paint tins Martyn ! {sm5}

Good looking scene. Especially like the round stone fortification. Who does that ?

Stay save and look after yourself. Jab No. 2 on Tuesday for me up at G Live again !

Steve

Now that’s a fine artillery piece Martyn and beautifully set out. Robin.

Many thanks Robin and Steve:salute::

The round stone fortification is available from JG MINIATURES JG MINIATURES

Good to hear you are getting your second jab on Tuesday Steve. Several people, including family members, have said the second jab hurt more than the first one but don't worry I had no adverse reaction:wink2:

Stay safe

Martyn:)

Ah part of the Boer War Blockhouse set up ! I think it was a Mr Ragg over Pyrford way who told me a couple of years ago when I was working at his house, it was himself who commissioned JG Miniatures to produce a Boer Blockhouse. Certainly had a very nice 54mm River Gunboat in a glass display case on show !

Steve

Martyn,

I had no idea that there was a time machine that connected WWI with the Boer War, but that excellent set up certainly provides evidence!👍👍

Hi Steve

I bet Mr Ragg lives around the corner from Mike of Imperial Miniatures, he lives in Pyrford.

Stay safe

A TV channel in the UK (Talking Pictures) has just started a re-run of the 1960's series TIME TUNNEL, could give me some ideas :wink2: :salute::
