My General the last redoubt in the photo was made using DAS modeling clay....The Lt.

How long did that take you to make? What did you do for texture.
? I think that is a pretty neat idea.

Used the clay as is from the package with wet fingures to shape the mealie bags and found that it had to be finished in section because of the ovaerall weight ......The Lt.

Nice job on those mealie bags Lt. They look very 'natural' (lousy choice of words, but I hope you get what I mean )
I must have a go at doing something like that for sandbags.

Picked my copy up today and it's basically the WW1 Bus and some of the marching figures which have been given a matt makeover and released by Maision Militaire under their Heritage Miniatures label. At the end of the article it states that these are also available in gloss.
