Trophy's June Calendar

Another stab at Anthony Durnford's last moments at Isandlwana. I had a couple:D sets lying around that I used figures from. Wouldn't it be fun if we could pick out which sets are represented here?

Now that is downright cool.
The sets are
Durnford's Last Stand
Savage Fury (Over turned wagon, firing 24 th foot in red tunic, shot Zulu, 24 th foot in shirtsleeves with bandage around head)
Patrol Under attack, kneeling firing NMP
Dead trooper from Defending the Hospital set ( 2000 Version) or maybe he was taken from the Spears are washed set.
Red Coated ZUlu is from the Hand to Hand sets.
Well done
I love these posts Mike.
Martyn I used my wife's computer last night and saw your Durnford displays as well for the first time and they are also great.
Thanks for posting guys.
I see no-one has bid on Conte's sale of the Rorkes Drift Defendes

Very nicely done depicting Durnford's last stand my Aide de Camp. Martyn know you enjoyed picking out the sets and figures as much as I did and you didn't miss a one and glad to know you liked the June calendar.....The Lt.

Damian, Martyn and Lt,
You guys are good! I too really enjoy looking at your set-ups and picking out the little gems...A wonderful interruption to the normal day...

Damian,
I just finished Michael Asher's Khartoum-The Ultimate Imperial Adventure. I fear a moniker change may be in order (1882-98fanatic). A fantastic book on pre-Gordon to the final battle at Omdurman. I wonder if Trophy ever dabbled in this era?

The blurb on the cover of that book said Mr Asher is ex special forces, is married to an Arabist and escorts tourists around the SUdan. Sounds like a character right out of his book.
I am not sure if Trophy ever covered this conflict though

Sure is too bad, they would have been very nice. That book really is superb, written just like a good novel. No index to battles, just chapters in the saga.
